THE 2ND ANNUAL HALLOWEEN WALK

UP COMING EVENT Saturday Oct. 29, 2016                                                                 LAKESHORE, TORONTO

Our MissionFord

In 2014, Chris Korwin-Kuczynski, former City Councillor & Deputy Mayor of Toronto, reached out to his local Lakeshore Village BIA group to start a walk that would benefit our Canadian military families. The walk was a success. This year he joined forces with Lorne Simon, Co-founder of R.I.D.E. CHECKS  and Sandra Finkelstein, Engagement Specialist to broaden the scope to include all first-responders such as police, EMS , fire service, military and their families and to bring a focus to awareness and resiliency around mental health/PTSD for those in the field, retirees and new recruits.

OUR MISSION is to create a free day of fun, entertainment, refreshments and excitement for first responders, their families and supporters (police, EMS, fire, and military) and raise money for Mood Disorders Society of Canada, Peer Support Program, catering to these groups, and support awareness and resiliency in areas of mental health and PTSD.
